Professor Jorga of the University of Bucharest, and well-known Roumanian scholar, declared today that he would have to resign from the faculty of the university because of the fact that the anti-Semitic students are preventing him from delivering his lectures. “The Roumanian universities at present are no more than burlesque houses,” said Prof. Jorga.

Police, who were present, remained indifferent to their cries for help. Fortunately, however, the two victims of the mob were good swimmers and made their way to shore.
