The Palestine Government today published a warrant from the Royal Commission which is scheduled to start an investigation of the disorders as soon as peace has been restored.

The warrant calls on all persons wishing to testify before the commission when it arrives, to submit a brief outline of the nature of their testimony. No hearings will be held prior to the commission’s arrival, it was stated, and no counsel will be permitted to represent groups or individuals.

Witnesses will be heard by the commission on the basis of the three points which it was instructed to investigate, the warrant explained. They are the underlying causes of the disorders, the manner in which the Mandate is being implemented towards Jews and Arabs and whether under a proper construction of the Mandate, Jews and Arabs have legitimate causes for grievances.

David Ben-Gurion and Moshe Shertok, members of the executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine last night entertained at dinner High Commissioner Sir Arthur Wauchope, Lieut. Gen. J.G. Dill and other military authorities.
