The ruins of an old synagogue in Kaper Naum, the Palestinian village where Jesus first preached to the Jews, were unearthed today, according to a cable received from Haifa from the Danish scholar, Dr. Sommerfeld, who is now carrying on excavations in that region.
On the walls of the synagogue, Dr. Sommerfeld found the emblem of the swastika, two hooks crossing each other, which would prove that this sing was an ancient Jewish ornament. At present the swastika is being used by the anti-Semites in Europe as the emblem for their movement.
