Ruler of French Jews in Paris to Confer with Nazi Masters

Louis Darquier de Pellepoix, French anti-Semite who has been appointed as Commissar for Jewish Affairs by Laval, has left for Paris to confer with German authorities there, it was learned here today.

Albert Levy, head of the Jewish Relief Committee in France, was appointed today president of the General Union of Israelites, the only authorized Jewish group. It will represent Jewish interests in all dealings with the authorities and administer relief.
