Israel and Rumania are expected to sign a trade agreement here this weekend under which Rumania will purchase 82 buses from Israel at a cost of about $1,500,000. The agreement, a sequal to the general economic and cultural exchange treaty signed by the two countries two months ago, is expected to provide for the purchase by Rumania of 200 vehicles yearly for the next few years.

The buses will be built here by Leyland Ashdod. While the engines will be supplied by the Leyland Motor Company of Britain, a partner in Leyland-Ashdod, most of the components will be manufactured here and the assemblies will be completed here.
