Dowager Queen Helen of Rumania has presentative the local office of the Joint Distribution Committee with an autographes photograph of herself in recognition of the J.D.C.’s aid to the people in the Motdawing famine area. In an accompanying latter, the Queen expressed her “heartfelt thanks for the generous help offered by the Joint Dintribution Committee.”
