The Rumanian Government has issued an order threatening with deportation to Transnistria, the Rumanian-occupied section of the Ukraine, all “stateless Jews” who do not leave Rumania by the end of this month, the Berlin radio reported today.
The official order, as quoted by the Nazi radio, said: “All stateless Jews who fail to leave the country by May 1 will be deported to former soviet territories on the other side of the Dniester now occupied by Rumanian troops.” The Nazi-controlled Paris radio, heard here today, also carried the same report.
