A memorandum on the position of the Rumanian Jews was presented to Interior Minister Armand Calinescu today by Dr. Wilhelm Filderman, president of the Union of Rumanian Jews. The memorandum deals with the situation of foreign Jews who have lived in Rumania many years, recent refugees from Germany, and Jews who have been deprived of their citizenship under the citizenship revision law and who are now regarded as aliens.
