Rumanian Jews have been ordered to liquidate any mortgages held by them within two months, it was announced today by the German radio. Jews working in any kind of laboratories have been instructed to resign. A new decree announced in Bucharest, governing Jewish pharmacists, was also broadcast by the Nazi radio. It provides that “from today on the Jews in Rumania will not be permitted to own or work in drugstores. All drugstores which are in Jewish hands must be liquidated within sixty days.”
