Rumanian Jewry, deprived of legal political representation since the Rumanian Jewish Party and the Union of Rumanian Jews were suppressed along with all political parties in the introduction of the one-party system, is now attempting to build up a representative body on corporative lines. Dr. Theodor Fisher, former president of the Jewish Party, discussed the question today with Minorities Commissioner Silviu Dragomir, while the Bukowina Zionist leader, Dr. Narkus Kraemer, began the organizing of Jews whose membership is not wanted in the all-inclusive Front of National Regeneration.
