Proposals to prohibit Jews from entering the bar for twenty years were made today at a conference of the Association of Rumanian Lawyers of the Christian Faith.
Declaring, “We shall not rest until our aim is achieved, ” Senator Slatineau, president of the association, said he would sponsor such a measure in Parliament.
In accordance with this policy, the Superior Council of the Rumanian Lawyers Association refused admission to the bar to Ronati Filderman, son of William Filderman, president of the Union of Rumanian Jews.
