The Rumanian liner Transylvania left Constanza on the Black Sea today carrying 863 Jewish emigrants.
According to figures compiled by the Israel Legation, this fourth transport of close relatives of Rumanian Jews already in Israel brings the total departures since early November to 3,250, of whom 75 percent are past 50 years of age.
Also on board were Israel Minister Reuven Rubin and his family who are returning home after the envoy has served a year in Bucharest.
