Premier George Tatarescu today received a deputation from the Jewish community, which submitted to him a memorandum asking the Rumanian government to support Jewish demands for increased immigration into Palestine.
The premier replied that he was sympathetic to Rumanian Zionism and was sincerely desirous of seeing a Jewish fatherland in Palestine.
