In an apparent attempt to spur lagging Rumanian morale, Ilie Rdaulesu, editor of the violently anti-Semitic Bucharest newspaper Porunca Vreme, publishes a signed editorial in that paper warning against Jewish domination of Rumania following an Allied victory. “Jews will not only be reinstated to their former positions, but we will have to pay retribution with interest for everything they will pretend to have lost,” the editorial adds.
