Russia has no plans to sell Syria missiles, the U.S. State Department said. Secretary of State Colin Powell met with his Russian counterpart and discussed reports that Russia plans to sell advanced missiles to Syria, spokesman Richard Boucher said Thursday. The United States opposes arms sales to Syria because of its support for terrorism.
