Russia suspended a plan to supply the Palestinian Authority with 50 armored vehicles. Diplomats in Moscow said Friday that the decision was linked to chaos in the Gaza Strip following the Israeli withdrawal. But Russia still is expected to go ahead with a plan announced by President Vladimir Putin in April to give the Palestinian Authority two transport helicopters.
