The Soviet Government will guarantee the delivery of matzoth for the Jewish population in the Soviet Union for next Passover, according to the terms of an agreement signed here to-day by the Amtorg, the Soviet official trading organisation in America, and the Manischewitz Matzoth Company of Cincinnati, one of the largest matzoth concerns in the world.

The agreement provides that the Manischewitz Company is to send to Russia until March 15th. not less than 200,000 packages of matzoth of 11 lbs. each, or a minimum of two million pounds of motzath.

The packages will be delivered free from duty not later than the day before Passover. Otherwise, the Soviet Government undertakes to repay the cost of the undelivered packages.
