Over 1,000 Jews, formerly Russian citizens, who reside in Lithuania but are not citizens will lose the right to work when the new law withdrawing the rights of non-citizens to work without special permits is put in operation. The Jews affected fear that permits will not be given to them and are greatly alarmed for the future.
