Russia’s Defense Ministry said it plans to cooperate more closely with the Federal Security Service in order to prevent the unauthorized export of defense technologies, especially missile technology. A statement issued by the ministry said Russia would not make any exceptions to its commitments under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty but would continue to develop “traditional technological defense cooperation” with other countries, particularly in the field of conventional weapons.
