Rutengerg Secures Release of Detained Revisionist Leaders

Pinchas Rutenberg’s first action after his election to the presidency of the Jewish National Council was to approach the General Officer Commanding the British forces in Palestine with a request for the liberation of the Revisionist leaders now held in concentration camps. His demarche resulted in the prompt provisional release of Dr. David Buchspan, Dr. Simpson Younichman and Dr. Aaron Protes.
