The Jewish Employes Association in Berlin, affiliated with the Orthodox Agudath Israel, submitted a memorandum to the Reichstag, asking for the enactment of a bill to permit those who observe the Jewish Sabbath to work on Sunday.

They ask that they be permitted to work in stores five hours on Sunday if they abstain from work on Saturday.
