At least one saboteur was killed last night in a clash south of the Jordan River Allenby Bridge when an Israeli patrol intercepted a group of marauders. Israeli officials reported today. Bloodstains found in the area indicated other members of the group might have been hit in the exchange. No Israeli casualties occurred.
In other incidents, a prefabricated house containing the synagogue of the Turkish community in Kfar Saba near the Kalkiya Arab township in the West Bank was damaged today by an explosion and the custom house at Ramallah in the West Bank was slightly damaged by a blast. There were no persons in the Kfar Saba house at the time. An explosive charge was found nearby and dismantled. Some 15 mortar shells exploded last night south of the Hatzeba settlement in the Dead Sea area with no damages or casualties.
