Saddam Hussein moved his chemical weapons to Syria before the U.S.-led war on Iraq began, a former Israeli military chief said. “He transferred the chemical agents from Iraq to Syria,” Moshe Ya’alon, who was Israel’s top general during Operation Iraqi Freedom, told the New York Sun last week. “No one went to Syria to find it.”
