A total of $1,650,000 worth of Israel bonds was sold in this city during 1957, it was announced here last night at a bond dinner where $400,000 worth of bonds was purchased.
Abba Eban, Israel Ambassador to Washington, addressing the dinner, characterized as “outrageous” proposals by “third party” nations that Israel cede territory to the Arab states as the price of a peace settlement. Warning that only Israel can dispose of its territory, Mr. Eban advised the nations of the world to “leave our small territory alone.”
