Attacks on Salonica Jews are growing in number and assuming serious proportions. Most of the attacks on Jews are made late at night and despite the fact that in each instance the police have been informed of the attacks, not a single one of the attackers has been apprehended and brought to justice.

A Jewish chemist was among those who were attacked last night. He was seriously injured and taken to a hospital.

The Jewish inhabitants of the Syngrou quarter of Salonica, where the attacks chiefly occur, are terrified and complain of the incompetence of the police.
