The recently recognized Arab government of Transjordania is facing the most serious disturbance since the official recognition of its independence by Great Britain last month.

Nine thousand Bedouins of the Wahabi tribe are said to be concentrated at Karaith Milch between the capital city of Amman and El Jouff. The Arab garrison has been completely destroyed.

The Palestine government in response to an appeal for assistance from Emir Abdullah has dispatched nine armored cars with troops.

The Emir also appealed to the chief of the Beni Shakar tribe but the latter refused to lend his tribe’s aid in fighting the Wahabi.
