Zionists here are preparing to welcome Mrs. Edward Jacobs, national president of Hadassah, who is due here shortly on an official visit.

The seventieth anniversary of Congregation Keneseth Israel was to be observed Saturday night. Judge Isadore M. Golden headed a list of prominent speakers.

Rabbi Rudolph I. Coffee, president of the Jewish Committee for Personal Service in State Institutions, has been named chairman of a group representing all religious faiths to work for a legislative appropriation of $50,000 to erect a chapel at San Quentin penitentiary.

The following have been named as delegates from Congregation Emanu-El to the annual convention in Washington March 22, of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations: Rabbi Irving F. Reichert, Congresswoman Florence Prag Kahn and Louis S. Haas.
