Sir Philip Sassoon, noted British-Jewish financier, vice-secretary of the Air Ministry in 1924 and present member of parliament, will accompany the Prince of Wales on the latter’s visit to the United States and Canada next September.
Sir Philip, who is now 42, is like the Prince, a bachelor. During the war he was private secretary to Field Marshal Haig. In the coalition government which was created after the war he was Parliamentary Secretary to David Lloyd George.
