Saudi Arabia has ordered Ford automobile agents to leave that country within three months unless the company “changes plans for opening a branch in Israel,” it was reported here today from Riyadh. Last month, the Ford Motor Company of Detroit announced that it was negotiating with an Israeli firm to assemble Ford trucks and tractors in Israel.
(In Detroit, the Ford Motor Company said that it has no operations in Saudi Arabia but that “several dealers market the company’s products in that country.”)
