Palestine Jewry is now deeply rooted in the country, was the opinion expressed by H. C. Luke, former Acting High Commissioner, who arrived here on his way to London.

This would help to prevent a crisis, such as was caused through the disproportionate number of immigrants without means who were admitted to the country. Mr. Luke declared that he is convinced the Jewish people are physically capable of doing land work. During his frequent journeys to the colonies he observed the strong and healthy development of the new generation.

The Palestine government is willing to do its utmost to fulfill the duties it assumed under the Mandate, he declared.
