The option of the Palestine Jewish Colonization Association (PICA) on 4,000 dunams of land near Beisan has evidently lapsed, the Arab paper Falastin says, reporting that the widow of the Arab landlord owning the land intends to sue M. Nachmani, the PICA’s representative in Tiberias for breaking the contract. According to the Falastin, she will then offer the lands to Arabs or Egyptians at a cheaper price than stipulated in the option.
