Robert H. Arnow, president of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency and a leader in Jewish communal affairs, will be honored for his commitment to the humanitarian aims of the United Jewish Appeal at a testimonial dinner tendered by the UJA’s Scarsdale Division on Monday, May 11, at Temple Israel Center of White Plains. Plans for the dinner were announced by William M. Landau, the chairman of the Scarsdale Division’s 1970 campaign. Mr. Arnow also urged Scarsdale residents to continue their support of the UJA’s relief and rehabilitation operations. “There must be no slackening,” he added. “We must demonstrate our solidarity with the people of Israel by aiding the humanitarian efforts of the UJA.”
