Services will be held Friday for Harris Berlack, member of the American Jewish Committee’s board of governors and chairman for many years of its foreign affairs committee, who died Tuesday at the age of 70. He frequently represented the AJ Committee in its meetings with foreign officials overseas and in the United States. As a result of a mission to Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru in 1965, the AJ Committee expanded its community services program in South America. He also recommended the establishment of an AJ Committee program in Mexico and Central Committee which were subsequently established.
