Funeral services will be held here Friday for Elchanan Wogler, a Yiddish poet, essayist and critic from Vilna who died today. Mr. Wogler was in his late fifties. A survivor of the Vilna ghetto, he came to Paris after World War II and was a member of the cultural commission of the French section of the World Jewish Congress. Prior to the outbreak of the war, he was a member of the Jewish literary group known as “Young Vilna.”
