A bequest of $50,000 to the Sydenham Hospital is made in the will of Leon Schinasi, wealthy American-Jewish cigarette manufacturer, who died in France on August 16 and who left an estate whose value is estimated at several million dollars. He had contributed $100,000 for a site for the hospital several years ago. A trust fund of several million dollars for the benefit of various New York hospitals was founded by Mr. Schinasi’s father, Solomon Schinasi, who founded the tobacco concern of Schinasi Brothers.
