There will be no fight for the championship between Max Schmeling and Max Baer because one is an “Aryan” and the other is a Jew, the Westdeutcher Beobachter, the leading Nazi daily in West Germany, declares today.
“A contest between the German Schmeling and the Jewish exponent of American professional boxing, Max Baer, is unauthoritative,” the paper writes.
