The Hebrew Union School of Sacred Music, training center for synagogue cantors, will offer a new graduate course leading to the Master of Sacred Music degree effective next fall, Dr. Abraham N. Franzblau, dean of the school, announced last night.
He made the announcement at the fourth commencement of the School of Sacred Music, held at the School. Six men who completed the school’s three-year course were graduated as cantor-educators and two of them qualified for the Bachelor of Music degree.
