Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-chairman of the European Executive Council of the Joint Distribution Committee, left for New York today on the Yankee Clipper for conferences with JDC officials. He has been in Europe since May 3, 1940. He is scheduled to reach New York on May 1.
