The town of Lubavitch, made famous as the residence of the great dynasty of Lubavitcher rabbis, was today merged with neighboring villages in a totally collectivized scheme. Many of the residents will be put to work in the merged collective, but the fate of the majority of them is still unknown. Neighboring peasants as well as the population of Lubavitch are reported to be celebrating the merger with a great parade.
