Nathan Raymond Burns, 23, arrested last night and charged with illegal possession of explosives, was remanded for trial next Monday then he was arraigned today in the Guild Hall Magistrate’s Court. Burns is the second man held in connection with the same alleged plots.
Meanwhile, Scotland Yard detectives were active in the East End section of London and were reported to have searched the home of a woman allegedly active in an Irgun movement here. It was also said that Scotland Yard had not been so active in an explosives case since the arrest of a number of alleged Irish terrorists in 1938.
