Secretary of State Colin Powell said a timetable for peace in the Middle East will “come in due course.” After meeting Thursday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher in Washington, Powell said he expected the U.S. envoys in the Middle East to construct a timetable for a cease-fire as part of their discussions with Israeli and Palestinian officials.
