Security authorities Intend to tighten control on left-wing circles in Israel in the aftermath of last week’s expose of a Syrian-directed spy ring in which several Jews of extreme leftist ideology were prominent members, It was learned today. Sources here said the authorities did not Intend to impose political control on extremist left-wing circles but would exercise sufficient control to prevent those circles from making contact with hostile elements and endangering the security of the State thereby.
