Revival of the Hebrew Language in Palestine has been one of the miracles of the present epoch in Jewish history, according to Shloime Wiseman, principal of the Jewish Peoples’ Schools, who recently returned here from a visit to Palestine. He spoke at a banquet tendered him in connection with the twentieth anniversary of the schools.
Youth in Palestine is having its great opportunity these days, Mr. Wiseman said. Even in agricultural districts, he declared, education of children has not been neglected. It is hoped to create a feeling of kinship between Palestine children and Jewish children in other parts of the world, so that they may feel they are all part of one distinguished race, he asserted.
