The Polish and German consuls here were urged today by relatives of the two missing young Jews, Johannan Stahl and Saliah Zohar, German and Polish citizens respectively, to intervene with the Palestine government for more effective search for the young Jews. Stahl and Zohar disappeared about a month ago in Tel Aviv while on an excursion.
Their strange disappearance has excited the Jewish community. Foul play is feared. Zohar lived in Ben Shemen and Stahl came from the settlement of Kiryat Brenner. They were last seen on the promenade in Tel Aviv on June 29. The Jewish press, expressing the belief that they were murdered, has also urged the Palestine police department to take immediate and vigorous steps to clear up the mystery.
