Extension of the present Connecticut law barring discrimination in multiple-housing units will be sought by the Democratic members of the State Legislature following a study completed by Secretary of State Ella T. Grasso.

Existing legislation prohibits racial or religious discrimination in multiple-housing of five or more dwelling units. A platform plank adopted by the Democratic State Convention calls for extension of the law to three-family units, now exempt.
