In an effort to stimulate organization of the Latvian Jews in the United States, estimated at 100,000, into an association, the Kurlander Young Men’s Mutual Aid Society in this city will hold a rally at the Pythian Temple, 135 West Seventieth street, tomorrow night at 8:30 o’clock.
Chief Rabbi Mordecai Nurok of Latvia, who arrived in the United States recently, will be guest of honor. About 1,000 persons are expected to hear Rabbi Nurok speak at the temple rally.
Harry D. Kahn, treasurer of the Kurlander society, is in charge of arrangements. Cecil Segor is president, Philip Jacobson, vice-president, and Jacob Jacobson, secretary, of the organization.
