The committee to combat the white slave traffic has asked the Rabbinate to exercise the greatest care in the marriage of girls going abroad, particularly where the husbands are foreigners. Simultaneously the committee has asked the authorities to increase their control over women going abroad because there has recently been an increase in the white slave traffic which has been responsible for the misleading of a number of Jewish girls.
