Sees Milder Attitude to Minorities in New Cabinet Appointments

The possibility of a milder attitude toward the minorities residing in the Republic of Poland was seen in the proposed changes in the cabinet. The Jewish daily “Hajnt” reports the nomination of the Vilna governor, Raczkiewicz, for the post of Minister of the Interior. Raczkiewicz’s friendly attitude toward the minorities is well known.

The governor of Volhnia, Jozefki, has been nominated as Assistant State Secretary of the Ministry Council’s praesidium on minority problems, the “Hajnt” reports.
