The prediction that the Legislative Council will not be established in Palestine as soon as was expected was made today in the London Times in a cable from its Jerusalem correspondent.
The correspondent bases his prediction upon the communique issued by High Commissioner Wauchope for Palestine in which he stated that the Legislative Council will be established, but only after a reasonable period of observing Palestine municipal councils at work.
This statement, the correspondent asserts, is tantamount to shelving the proposal for establishing a Legislative Council.
