The rules committee of the Polish Sejm today rejected the demand of the Jewish parliamentary clan to give the Jewish club representation on the Sejm committees despite the fact that the club has not the ten members required for such representation. The rules committee, however, authorized the chairmen of each committee to invite Jewish deputies to sit in at committee meetings in a consultive capacity.
This means that Jewish participation in the work of the Sejm’s committees is dependent on the good-will of the chairman of each committee.
